The mission behind Little Owl has always been to cherish childhood and develop ways to best support each parent through these important stages in their child’s life. The company prides itself on remaining current in research in Child Development and allowing this knowledge to guide its practice. The core values have always rested in recognizing the fundamental importance of a person’s early childhood in their overall human development. Eighty five percent of brain development and growth occur between the ages 0-6 years. Instead of offering children manufactured toys with set directions, the incorporation of open-ended materials in early childhood provide immense benefits by allowing the child to reach deep levels of cognitive thinking, problem solving, and innovation through each play experience.
Over the years Little Owl has truly grown into an incredible educational team. It is an honour to learn, grow, and work alongside so many dedicated individuals.
